Can't encrypt files

I've tried NtfsDisableEncryption, and i've started the EFS service from Services.msc.Whatever I do, I can't encrypt my file.Can someone help me?(I can't insert an image for some reason, but the option is greyed out.)A piece of info that might help that all my files are read-only? I don't know why that is, but I haven't been able to change that.
