can't download a thing!

I'm a student and I'm trying to download <g class="gr_ gr_8 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="8" id="8">grammarly</g> for Internet explorer and the computer starts to download it then it does a security scan and says the file has a virus and has been deleted. This happens with anything I try to download no matter what it is. I tried to download an ebook for class and it did the same thing. HELP PLEASE!!
