Can't delete accounts under your family

I am trying to delete two accounts on "My Family" and they both give me the same following message. You can't remove [Name] from the family groupFamily members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for [Name] can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted [Name] consent to remove [Name] from the family group.
