Can't boot into Windows 10

When I've tried to boot into Windows 10, it always got stuck on the loading screen when the dots froze. I would have to force shut down to turn off the laptop. Eventually, I decided to try a complete re-installation of Windows with a bootable usb. Windows seemed to install correctly from this usb, but then got stuck after it restarted to finish the installation. It went through a few screens like, "Getting ready" and "Preparing devices", but then got stuck as before on a "Getting ready" screen.Is there some other way to completely reset the drive and try again, or is this a hardware issue?
