Can't attach Word document to share in an email?

[Windows 11]

I have a Windows 11 Hewlett Packard laptop that is not allowing me to attach Word documents to share as an email attachment. I get the following error message Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure: "Unspecified error."Need help on how to solve this problem. Thank you.
