Can't add custom columns specific public folder in favorites for specific user in Outlook 2013

Hello,

one specific user has two public folders added to the favorites in Outlook 2013. Both folders have custom columns. These were showing in Outlook (both on local PC (no roaming profile) and on RDS Server), but suddenly the custom columns on one of these folders are no longer showing and can't be readded (permission missing).

The columns are still showing in the standard public folder view but not when accessed via the favorites. Only this user is affected. The permissions were not changed (Editor permission for public folder).

Could this be caused by some type of mailbox corruption? What steps could one take to further advance the troubleshooting.
