Cannot sign into Windows account on Windows 11, as a result, cannot activate copy of Windows after a hardware change

Afternoon.A bit of a complex one here. After upgrading Motherboard and CPU obviously my copy of Windows is no longer activated. No problem I thought, I would try the activation troubleshooter. The troubleshooter returns no porduct key. No worries there. I noticed there was a button saying "I have recently changed hardware" which I pressed. A window pops up asking me to sign into my Microsoft account. I followed the sign in prompts only to be met with "oops something went wrong, It was probably our fault. Please try again."
