Cannot set network discover on my Windows 7 Laptop

I recently had to change the settings on my devices to modify my internet access (EE Smart Hub) For some reason I cannot fathom my Windows 7 Laptop refuses to allow me to set "Turn on network discover" and save the settings. The save changes option is grayed out. I am using Norton360 security. I am using Hone as my network.I have used the revised settings on all my devices and this is the only device that shows this problem and I cannot find any way to rectify this.Can someone tell me what the likely problem(s) might be and how I may rectify this error.
