Cannot reset laptop password.

This issue is arising as follows. In order to allow the installation of the "Microsoft App" for work, I was required to run DISM as there seemed to be errors with Services.msc, which was preventing the Microsoft Store from allowing the download. This solved the issue.After a restart however my conventional password ceased to allow my into my laptop. Changing my password on my MS Account (this current one) did not have any effect. Pressing Shift + Restart to try to open the Admin CMD however seems to requires the same password that no longer works to allow me to open it. This is also the case f
