Cannot pin Edge websites to Taskbar Win 11

The pinning of websites from Edge worked on my laptop but not on my desktop - both on same Win 11 versions. I see hundreds of threads on this - all basically suggesting a reset or reinstall of Edge (and even windows) to fix.However, I believe I have found a solution (well it works for me!):I noticed on my laptop that when I pinned to the taskbar from Edge I received a notification popup to confirm the action and until I confirm this action the pin does not show.On my desktop I had switched off Notifications - so wasn't getting the confirmation popup.
