Cannot install .NET Framework 3.5 or Windows updates.

I first found this when trying to launch a game and it said that to play it, I needed to install .NET Framework 3.5. Showed below. When clicking install, it goes through the installation only to say this when it is finished:I am 80% sure that this has something to do with Windows Updates as I can not install them as well and one is a .NET Framework 3.5 update. I will now show images in order of what happens when I click retry for the update.
