so in order to play a few games, i need the microsoft vb c++ stuff. unfortunately, the problem is, every time that i try to download them, it gives me an error that another installation is already running. i have tried everything, from ending tasks, trying to find things in the registry that are currently installing and failing, shutting down my computer, etc, but nothing works. is there any non-installer version of the redist or am i just borked eternally, like sisyphus attempting to roll his boulder up the hill, forever doomed to attempt to install microsoft visual c++ 2010 x64 only to be gr
