Cannot initialize external Western Digital 8 TB in disk management that was formally used with Xbox

Got a good deal on a WD SSD, so I moved the contents from the 8 TB WD drive to the SSD using my Xbox. Disconnected the WD HD to my Lenovo laptop. Here is what i see in Disk Management:when right-clicking on the drive :I can re-connect the D back to the Xbox, format it, and it is fine.I have swapped the USB cable, and verified that is work correctly. Can you help?
