Can you reinstall windows 10 on a non activated copy of windows 10

Hi, I do not mean to break rules but as of typing this now, I used to have windows activated on a laptop, but I need to activate windows again and I don’t have the key anymore and I do not want to spend money on a product key. ( I am using a non pirated windows 10 ). Anyways, I had a problem that required me to reinstall windows and I am asking if I can reinstall windows on a non activated copy of windows and use windows not activated as I do not want to spend money on windows 10 key for some reasons (including saving money). I already made a USB and I have multiple laptops and 1 desktop.
