can window 11 be installed on external hard drive due to lack of storge¿

My Hp 14s-fq0002ns laptop has got 8 gb ram and 64gb eMMC and only win 11 and Microsoft office and limited apps are installed due to lack of storage but now I am running out of storage and I can not even update window 11 which needs 8gb space. I have done all necessary procedure to delete files and temporary files to increase storage . All data is kept on external storage. Can you please help me to solve this problem. Can I clone my eMMC to external hard drive so window is installed on external hard drive
