Can someone help me update my hp pavilion g6?

I have been trying to update this PC for some time now. I've activated TLS 1.2 (or so i think) from the Microsoft Easy-fix 51044 file, yet when I try to run the media creation tool I still get the error code 0x80072f8f-0x20000 and a message to restart my computer because it cannot run the tool. Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated because I'm honestly considering either buying a disc or factory resetting my computer.
