I have a windows 8 laptop that I've had for years. It was originally owned by a family member. The only account(administrator) was theirs. I was just getting around to setting up my own administrator account and removing the old one. After making some changes I was prompted to sign in to windows again. Even though I removed the old account and added a new one, also changing the owner's name to mine, I was presented with 2 separate accounts to choose for sign in. One account was the newly created administrator account and oddly there was a second account that was just my name. I chose that one
