I have an SSD and an HDD in my computer. Originally, I only had the HDD, but when I got the SSD, I cloned my operating system and changed the boot order to boot from the SSD. This worked with no problems for almost a year. Then, a few nights ago, a routine windows update was performed, and when I booted my computer in the morning, it booted from the HDD instead of the SSD. I tried changing the boot order in the BIOS, but when I did that, it doesn't seem to work, it gives me some stupid **** message about "insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" or some **** like that. Note the problem is NOT that the SSD isn't plugged in, because I can see it as one of the options in the boot order and I can access it as the "I drive" or something like that from my PC. Which brings me to my next problem - when I look through the contents of the SSD drive, I can no longer find my files under "Users" - my profile is totally gone and disappeared from the list. At first I found it under "Windows.old," but after trying to boot from the SSD drive several and I guess **** around with ****, I can't even find "Windows.old." I seriously want to sue the pants off of Microsoft right now and give Satya Nadella and all the **** engineers at your **** company a good hard kick in the 'nads. Anyways, seriously, what the **** do I do?
