Can large amounts of files on desktop hinder the startup time?

Hello,my colleagues just got new computers and they large amount of files (28gb and 7gb) in their desktop folders. Older computers with Win11 (all of them have the Win11) seem to startup a bit slower. After the initial logon automatically starting programs, such as Teams, seem to start way slower than on the older computers.After investigating this issue, can it be that the folders having the (28gb and 7gb) OneDrive-synced files are causing the delay in startup?Thanks!-Lars
