Can I use a recovery disk made on a Windows 10 computer to repair a Windows 7 computer that was upgraded to Windows 10 online.

The original product code sticker is unreadable from the Windows 7 computer. I can make a bootable recovery flash drive. But I don't know whether to use a Windows 7 or a Windows 10 iso file .I have no backups .
