I am planning to upgrade my CPU (and by extension my motherboard and RAM) from an older Intel to a more powerful AMD one and have read that it's better to reinstall your OS, I was originally going to use a USB drive to install Windows 11 and get a license later as I've been wanting to upgrade to Windows 11 (currently using 10) and reset my PC, though I had the idea that maybe I could just use the same drive that Windows is currently on, back up my important files and do the free upgrade after swapping the motherboard and CPU, would there be any possible issues with doing this?
