can I unlink a activision account (I have no access to) from my Xbox account?

So I believe my Xbox account is connected to a different acivision account thats banned and I dont have access to. I keep trying to connect my current activision account to my xbox account but it keeps saying “link account” after doing the whole process. Is there any way to fix this issue?
