Can I search across a subset of folders in Explorer?

I have a folder of a sequence of ca 1000 folders, R001 to R890, each with 0-20 files.I want to search the contents of R432 to R452 for all files names including "ep", then copying the relevant files for further work.I can search the whole folder of folders producing a very long list.I cannot see in the search options an option to search a subset.Is it easily possible?Thank you
