Can I run Win XP on my Acer TC-780 from CD?

Nowadays I use a laptop to do all my computing/internetting but I recently decided to dig out my old PC tower and have a crack at trying to install Windows XP Home Edition (2002). I'd stopped using that computer ages ago as it suddenly became very slow and glitchy and haven't even unpacked it since getting the laptop. My plan was to try to use XP to run a bunch of old PC games we have, and not connect the tower to the internet at all. I have retrieved all of the files from it that I wanted to keep.The basic specs (as written on the side of the tower - a reset is in progress):Intel Core i5 proc
