Can I open Microsoft apps if they are in other drive instead of C drive.... When I reinstall fresh windows

Hi, I currently have Asphalt legends unite installed on Local Disk (C) in Windows 10 .. if I move it to my Local Disk (E) and then reinstall fresh windows 10... Will I be able to open the app from disk E. Or not possible.. will windows detect the Microsoft app and then can I move it back to C drive?Thank You
