Can I get help fixing display issues with apps?

Have the same issue with me system. First my Edge stopped working and now my Steam App is no longer working; the programs actually work, I can clearly see this in my lower tab bar, however when I try to open the program it will not display on the monitor. I've had to install Safari in order to have internet access, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled steam twice and nothing will fix the issue. Please help as this is my gaming PC.
