Can anyone please tell me the definition of this problem and also how to remove it ? Operation did not complete successfully due to a file containing

I encountered this problem because my nephew downloaded a game from an unknown source. Now my defender always says there are threats on my PC but I can't figure them out. Every time I can I get this message" Operation did not complete successfully bla bla" I just wanna find the location of this file, get rid of this, and make my PC virus-free. It did have Trojan and other stuff which I think I removed. Can anybody suggest a hassle-free way to get rid of these viruses?Please help me ASAP.
