Calculator App & Various Others Not Opening Anymore?

Hello,I have desktop PC running Windows 10 Home and since about two days ago the calculator app on my PC no longer opens when i click to open it. Also there is a solid black line underneath the calculator app in the windows menu bar which wasn't there before. This same black line now appears on the itunes, photos & skype applications. Another thing which just started happening today is when I try and open any image it comes up with an error that says "package could not be registered"This all started happening around two to three days ago, if anyone can kindly offer some assistance on this
