Cached Credentials have expired persists

I'm getting an error message that tells me that my cached credentials have expired, and when I try to resolve the issue by logging in, it continuously returns the same login box without registering anything entered. I've tried clearing all cached credentials to resolve the issue and other typical things like changing setting preferences and reinstalling the software. The error message appears regardless of file type, or Microsoft App opened (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, etc.) & persists regardless of any troubleshooting attempts I make.
