Buy "HEVC video extensions" on the Microsoft Store - does not work, no error message

As I cannot open the heic files on my laptop ASUS (Windows 11), I am trying to buy "HEVC video extensions" on the Microsoft Store. I have entered the credit card on my profile. I press the "Buy" button and I get an empty window with no text or title (an error message?). This makes almost useless my new PC (all pictures taken with my telephone and copied on my laptop are heic files), could you please help me?
