I recently built a new computer and have been getting quite a few blue screens lately. The first one I got was after booting up my computer after it had been off for a few days. I got that one a couple more times and it tends to happen if I try to hibernate my computer instead of completely shutting it down.

I figured this was a driver issue and so I tried the verifier command in a powershell administrative prompt. That didn't cause any issues for a bit, but I hit bsods for other reasons. Some of the error messages that I have seen:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION

I have seen more than just those two, but I'd rather give less information instead of wrong information and I can't remember exactly what the others were.

The second error message is because I set up the verifier and I know that there are minidumps on my computer that explain some of this, but I can't open them and they're supposedly not readable by humans anyway.

Another issue with my computer that I think might be related is that my Microsoft defender keeps failing to start with this error message: Can't turn on Windows Defender - "Your IT Administrator has limited access to some areas of this app..."

I don't have another antivirus installed so a lot of suggestions in other posts mentioned that it could be malware (it's a new computer so I doubted it, but worth a shot). I installed malwarebytes, scanned and came back clean. When I was uninstalling that, I got a blue screen that later led to me getting the verifier blue screens on boot.

I did a system restore just a bit ago, but I still want to figure out what is going wrong and I think those dump files are probably the best way to start with that investigation. Could someone help me figure out what the issue is or at least how to get the information from the files?
