BSOD on Shutdown

I have been getting the BSOD on shutdown or in the middle of using my laptop. On restart, the GPU is not found and it can only run off of iGPU graphics. I have replaced the thermal paste in the laptop thinking the GPU was overheating. NZXT temp monitor suggests that temps are stable at 60 to 75 C while using under heavy loads. NZXT shows temps at 50 to 60 C for both GPU and CPU after applications crash and before BSOD. However, after all applications are shut off GPU remains at 95% max load.
