BSOD after update

Hi, my sons pc has BSOD after an update run over the weekend. The problem is I can’t work out what the admin password is and being a teenager himself he has no idea! Is there a way I can reset admin password? I’ve tried to do user password but it doesn’t seem to do anything. It runs auto repair but then nothing. If I go to advanced options and uninstall updates it fails. The same with UEFI firmware settings. I’m just not sure what to do
