Bought 365 personal, installed it. Now I need "permission"to access it? What did I do wrong?

I purchased Microsoft 365 Personal last knight. Checked my credit card this morning charge went through. Installed it today, did I do it right? Tried to use it, not happening. All I'm getting is that "I need permission to access this item" Gee thanks Daddy. What did I do wrong? Do I need a security key or something?Let me qualify who your responding to. I'm 72 not a techy , keep it simple.
