Bluetooth Headphones disconnect when screen sharing or recording

When using my bluetooth headphones and trying to screen record the headphones will randomly disconnect without making a sound. The headphones will only make the disconnect sound after turning bluetooth off on my pc. I also use a bluetooth keyboard and it does not get affected by this and continues to work after the headphones get disconnected. This always happen with either discord screen share or nvidia shadowplay. I have turned off all hands free devices in my device manager and have also set the bluetooth services to automatic.
