Bluetooth audio shuttering when connected to wifi network

I'm having this recent issue with all bluetooth audio devices (headphones, airpods,..). The issue is that the audio shutters only when connected to wifi. I could keep the wifi on and listen to any audio with no problem. Once I connect to a network, the audio shutters. Noting that I recently got a new WIFI adaptor to replace the previous one which had some issues (wifi disappearing,etc).
