Bluescreens, crackling audio and loud audio crashouts in specific games or apps

Ive had this problem for a while now and I still have no clue whats causing it. Every once in a while, my pc audio will just completely turn into pure static. This isnt just like a ticking noise or some background static, but my headphones start blasting the cable TV no channels found audio at max volume. I have no idea what is the cause and I dont know where to start fixing it. This was initially a problem with my old microphone, every once in a while it would turn the gain up to 1000% and do the same to anyone I was talking to.
