blue screen of death when trying to connect to wifi

So i updated my drivers and ever since then whenever i try and connect my wifi i get the blue screen of death. i did a complete factory reset, and now when it says “let’s connect you to a network” i still cannot connect to wifi even after doing a reset. i use a wifi usb adapter.
