My Sony Vaio Laptop can't play CDs, DVDs or BluRays any more after upgrading to Windows 10. Windows recognizes the drive as "CD-ROM Drive", but if I insert a disc, nothing happens except for a green bar that slowly moves. When I right-click the BD-drive and tell it to open the files on the cd, it tells me to insert a disc. So: it can't be used at all.
Windows tells me that the best driver is installed and the device works perfectly. Alas, it doesn't do anything at all. No matter, what I insert, or how many times I uninstall and reboot.
The drive is a Pioneer BDC-TD03, and it used to work perfectly with Windows 7 and, for example, WinDVD.
