Hello,

I have an issue with our client estate that runs Outlook 2010.

Specifically, when a user tries to forward certain emails (using either inline forwarding or forwarding as an attachment) the body of the email gets stripped out and is blank when the the use clicks "forward".

Interestingly, if the user edits the original message and makes a minor change to the body (say, removes one carriage return) and then tries forwarding the message, the body of the original email is retained when forwarded.

I have 200+ pc's that are displaying this behaviour.

On the 100 or so machines that run Office 2016 this issue is not apparent.

The Office 2010 machines are running:

Windows 10 Pro 1803

Office 2010 Home & Business Version 14.0.7208.5000 (32 bit)

Emails are composed using HTML by default.

The machines are patched with the latest security updates for Office and Windows via WSUS.

I have reinstalled office on a few machines I have been troubleshooting, run the MS Support & Recovery Assistant, but have been unable to find a fix for this issue.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this issue via MS hotfix?

Is this behaviour related to a bug in a previously released security update?

Is there a registry key that can be checked that may be causing this behaviour?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Matt
