Blackened Toolbar in IE8

I installed IE8. I am running Windows XP with Windows Classic colour scheme.

After each restart and also sometimes without a restart, the toolbar in IE

turns black and I cannot see the toolbar menus. Each time this happens, I can

fix the problem by going to the Appearance tab in Display Properties and

reselecting the Windows Classiccolour scheme.

It is very annoying. Is there a permanent fix to this problem or should I go

back to IE7?.

Don't use the Classic scheme.
