Black Screen Crash after December, 2024 Updates

My HP Pavillion laptop suffered yet another “black screen with cursor” crash after December 2024 updates-- KB5045935, KB5048685, KB5047486, KB2467173. This follows the same result from November’s update, KB5046633. In both cases, rolling back these updates restored operation. Painful! What the heck!What happens with these now-missing updates? Does this expose vulnerabilities that are never fixed, or will a future update plug these holes?I’ve paused updates for another five weeks.
