Black Screen after login following Edge update 11/12. Need recovery key.

I have been through this before. Cntrl/alt/delete, task manager, run new task, explorer.exe: does not work. Force reboot 3 times to get into the recovery menus. You need a recovery key in order to install updates or roll back the PC. I cannot find anything online to enter the code that is presented in order to get the recovery key, Logging into my Microsoft account I can see the recovery key for the machine that is working correctly but not the one that is messed up.
