Bitlocker recovery key glitch - finding solutions with third-party apps to decrypt?

I have a Lenovo Slim Pro laptop and after an automatic update it's requesting me a Bitlocker Recovery Key that was never generated nor linked to any of my Microsoft Accounts. Forums suggest that the only option is to do a clean install and lose all data, but this is unacceptable if the problem originates from a glitch from Microsoft!Is any of the third-party apps reliable to decrypt the bitlocker key and recover the data?
