Bitlocker Key Not Working

My daughter hasn't used her laptop in a few months. She started it today and there was a blue screen asking for a recovery key for Bitlocker. I have never heard of it and have no clue why it's enabled. She said she never enabled it. Anyway, I went online and found the Key ID, put it in, and it won't accept it. I tried to repair, recover, and restore it but it's won't allow me. Any other options?
