Bitlocker key not found under account what has the device

Hi, my computer is in bitlocker lock. The device shows up in the microsoft account, serial number matches but when I go to take out the bitlocker recovery key, it says that theres no keys to this account. With logically thinking it should be there since it shows the device. Can you help me recover my bitlocker key and get access to the files in the computer.
