Bitlocker key is not showing in my account despite previously using it

The bitlocker screen is coming up on my PC. I have had this pop up in the past and have therefore written down my key down. The screen came up again and I tried to use the same key, but it no longer works. Note that the screen previously was blue, now it is a black screen.So I signed into my Microsoft account to get they key, its definitely the correct account. But it no longer shows the bitlocker key or the device on the key screen, but the PC is showing up in my devices. When I select the bitlocker key from the device screen, it shows the correct desktop account and key, but the key doesn't
