BitLocker Key Incorrect

My pc locked me out requiring a BitLocker key. I went through my Microsoft account through gmail to obtain my 48 digit code. But when I keyed it in 3 times correctly, it says the number is incorrect. Can someone guide me how to fix this? I’m unable to use my pc.Thank you,Dorinda
