Bitlocker and BIOS update

Hello, Due to system stability issues, I need to update the BIOS of the motherboard. After reading the instructions on the manufacturer's (Asus) website, I notice that they strongly recommend disabling Bitlocker encryption, but do not specify if this is only necessary when the encrypted drive is the system drive where Windows 11 Pro is installed, or if it is also necessary to disable Bitlocker encryption for each drive.
