battery draining too fast

recently after windows update studently battery started draining too fast usually it used to last about 4-5hrs but now within 1-1.5 hrs battery is 20% please help. i dint know what to do also recently my touch pad was also not working which i fixed watching Youtube videospreviously also same problem happened and one Microsoft technician from this community guided me and problem got fixed
